When insuring a mortgage where there are intervening liens that prevent the lender from holding first lien priority, such other liens may be subordinated to the lien of the subject mortgage. If applicable, lienholders voluntarily execute proper subordination agreements, such subordinated liens should be shown on Schedule B, Part II of the ALTA loan policy.
